History, including occasion of first death if warranted:
Died his first death during a Viking raid on the Southern Coast. He wandered a bit, finding his way to the desert, riding with one bandit band or another. Met up with Kronos and Caspian and learned why he could not die. Then Methos came along and they were Four and they rode. Silas became War, the avatar of destruction, and had a wonderful time doing it. After the horsemen disbanded, for reasons he cannot remember, Silas wandered the world again. He lived in Romania for a time, in the wild lands, then moved to America. Something drew him over the seas, though he does not know what exactly, and he's been wandering ever since.

When separated from Kronos' influence, Silas is really a rather gentle soul. He is not evil so much as he is easily led. He sees nothing wrong with killing and taking because he is the stronger, but he does not delight in pain and suffering for its own sake.

Picture or description of sword : Unlike most Immortals, Silas caries an axe. It is balanced for throwing, but also for two handed fighting.
