Personality: Gabe is a very soft-spoken man, though is a natural born leader. He is ruled very much by logic and common sense and may seem unemotional when in fact Gabe is a very emotional man. He is a stubborn man at times and can often hold a grudge for a very long time.

Any special skills: Gabe is a very accomplished hunter and tracker as well as a brilliant tactician and military leader. As a hobby he has pursued architecture, engineering, law and literature since he was a young man. History: Gabe was born in 753 BC, to a prominent family on the foundation of what is to be Rome. His life was average, he trained to fight and lead men into battle, married and brought five children into the world. Life was very nearly idyllic for Gabe, he settled into being a grandfather and began training his eldest son to take control of the family. It was shortly after his sixtieth year that a household slave, paid by another family, stabbed the man in the back while they were hunting.

The slave returned to the house, announcing that his master had been killed in an accident. Gabe however came to alone and in a state of rage returned to the house and immediately killed the man who had taken his life. His family accepted his return with mixed emotions, though Gabe quickly put to rest any opposition and silenced his household regarding this new gift. Gabe came to the realization as his first granddaughter brought her own son into the world he could no longer stay for the safety of his family.

Taking very little Gabe made his way, often as a solider, sometimes as a politician. Shortly after his first 1000 years Gabe came to prefer solitude. He found a comfortable life as a sailor, being one of the first to set foot on the shores of the new world.

Falling in love with the untamed wilderness Gabe slipped away into the mountains of what is now Canada and northern America. He watched the settlers with a wary eye and in the early 1600’s found a nearly bedraggled woman wandering the wilderness. Her name was Katherine Anne, a newly made immortal of advanced years and Gabe took her into his home as a student. Not long after they were married though no more then a hundred years or so passed and she left seeking the greater solitude of the unsettled west.

Returning from much of his solitude as a trapper Gabe rejoined the modern world. At times he worked as a historian, focusing on the military history; other times as a professor of literature.
