Personality: He is a kind, if sometimes shy and very quirky man. He has wonderful people skills, loves to teach and learn and lights up like a Christmas Tree when something of interest to him is brought up. He has a wonderful sense of humor and is at ease in most social situations. History: Chris was born to Eve and Denis Shue in Glasgow Scotland. His parents, both professors, raised their son with a passion for learning and a gift for teaching. Because Eve was originally from the United States the family split time between the two countries, Chris raised and schooled in both. When it came time for him to go out on his own and choose a college he went to his mother’s Alma Mater Boston University. He graduated Magna Cum Laud at the age of 22 with a Bachelors in History and Teaching. He then went on to some part time teaching of High School while obtaining his Masters at BU. While going for his Masters he met, fell in love with and married Emily Jones a fellow teacher. He finished out his schooling in Europe then, working mostly at Oxford University but also spending time in Paris and Berlin obtaining his Doctorate by 27.

He and Emily then moved to Boston to get jobs and start a family. Not long after they moved in Emily had the couple’s first child – a daughter – Michelle Ann. The little family was happy and doing well when the superflu hit them. Michelle was the first to die followed by her mother. Chris was grief stricken and nearly killed himself… if not for the dreams. In the dreams he finally found some hope in life and has now set out to find other survivors… because the woman – Mother Abigail – had said there would be some. He now clings desperately to that hope.
