Cage was born in Miami, the second child of Heather Calvary –

Cage learned at a very young age the meaning of responsibility. He
took a job in high school, working nights and weekends as a
dishwasher to help make ends meet. In this time Cage developed and
refined his passion for tinkering with things and after graduating at
the top of his class he went onto Miami University with a full
scholarship where he left a few years later with a degree in
electrical engineering.
It was during his years at college that Cage developed a taste for
the party life and his easy sense of humor. After graduation Cage
moved west to New Mexico where he found work as the head engineer at
the Albuquerque city power company. At the time of the flu Cage was
single, but was raising the daughter of his eldest sister who had two
years ago died of cancer. The death of his niece struck Cage hard,
and only recently has he been able to finally bear the thought of
leaving the city where she was buried and heeding the call of the
dreams.
